The place was clean and comfortable and really spacious. The owner is helpful and friendly. The area is close to a lot of attractions and walking trails. The view is spectacular. The unit has everything you need, and there is coffee, milk, tea, and sugar with rusks on your arrival.

Hilltop Getaway ticked all our boxes. Harald, our host, was very welcoming and informative. Impeccably clean, cozy, comfortable, well built and equipped. The two dogs were beautiful and so friendly. We fell in love with the entire Hoekwil area and had a wonderful experience in the quaint village pub, Hoeka Toeka, with live music from an outstanding Boere Orkes, which was incredibly special and unforgettable!! Perfect proximity to the beach and rock pools. Beautiful view. The loadshedding bulbs were a thoughtful touch. If we have the opportunity to stay in Vic Bay again, it will most certainly be Silverspray.

The breakfast was excellent - the chef went the extra mile to make sure we started the each day with a high. Her use of fresh herbs made a huge impact. The staff ensured we were cared for, irrespective of our irregular schedule due to long days out. Being out of the bustle of town was a huge plus for us - definitely a big plus for a relaxing break.
