Liked the location, the staff, the kindness of people, everything
With an outdoor pool and overlooking the Clovelly Mountains, Tuscan Villa Guest House is 1969 feet from Fish Hoek Beach. Chandeliers, arches and a spiral staircase create an Italian feel.

Fish Hoek and rest of the Southern Peninsula have spectacular views. Facing the bay you have the ocean and to your back you have the mountain.
Sunrise at the beach is a beautiful sight - The sand is white and the beach is perfect for long walks.
Spent a lot of driving and sight-seeing around the Peninsula. So many places of interest in and around Fish Hoek and easily accessible. 2 Days was not enough to discover and explore all the hidden gems.
Navigation via GPS is recommended as the layout of the streets in Fish Hoek can be a bit confusing.

A good base to sample the surrounding areas of Kalk Bay, St James & Muizenberg which have cool bars, shops & restaurants. Nothing much in the way of bars etc in Fish Hoek itself & not touristy at all. However, if looking for a quiet beach & a couple of restaurants then it’s ideal.

Fish Hoek is a quiet community about 30 minutes away from Cape Town centre. It has a nice beach and several nice restaurants. Fish Hoek is relatively safe compared to the region ins general. Tuscan Villa is outstanding.

Fish Hoek is a great location, we had fish prawns and chips where you cant go wrong. its very easy to get around the area as we could walk to all shops and restaurants and there is so much to see as well. Baby penguins laying in the sun on the rocks and kids playing in the water with parents watching them from the benches on the pathway.

Great setting with an incredible view from the porch. Easy walk to Fish Hoek beach and if more adventurous nice 45 min walk to Kalk Bay. Extremely comfortable for a couple with a well fitted kitchenette. Everything was spotless and nicely furnished (pictures really are accurate
Ivan and the staff were incredibly responsive. Really appreciated the room being serviced with fresh towels and linen as often as we wanted.
could not have wished for better accommodation
The Cove is a fabulous place to stay! My friends and I had a bit of a reunion/holiday and The Cove was perfect for us. Joan met us on arrival, told us everything we needed to know, and made us feel quite at home. The house was so beautiful, and the view was so stunning that we thought we might never leave the room! But we did see the sights, and The Cove is in a great location from which to see the sights of Cape Town. I will definitely be back!
Everything was great!! We even got a hand written welcome note!
Extremely clean, caring and professional staff, modern and well maintained facilities. From private parking on site to free sunscreen in the sunroof, the hotel does it all.
Amazing breakfast and great availability of in-house bistro that was just for guests (ergo no reservations needed).
Karen and EVERYONE were so kind and friendly. From the moment I booked my reservation, I had constant and consistent communication with Karen. Once arriving, I was able to meet everyone else and was blown away by the hospitality. I will definitely visit again when I come back to Cape Town.

Ruth’s home is nothing short of fantastic. Situated high in the hills of Fish Hoek but close to all amenities. The home is an amazing collection of art and huge botanical garden surrounding the house. We loved our time there, and will return again.
The staff was wonderful from the desk person as we arrived to the lovely lady that served us breakfast. The rooms were quite comfortable as well. The hotel is also within walking distance of restaurants, stores and a beach.

Location was excellent, a lot to see out and about - Simons Town, Mineral mine, Cape Point, Fish Hoek and Kalk Bay were all in close proximity. Lovely seafood and great restaurants.
