Foxtail Apartment ligt op minder dan 1,5 km van het Arktikum Science Centre en op 7 km van het Santa Claus Village - Main Post Office. Het biedt gratis WiFi en een tuin. Quiet location, very easy walk to a supermarket, and extremely cosy place to sleep. 30 minute walk to town or easy taxi ride using Uber or similar local apps (or the taxi rank by McDonalds). There's a great kitchen which helps reduce eating out costs which can be steep in Rovaniemi for a family, and an excellent shower. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property without reservation.

Stunning setting on a husky farm and overlooking the frozen lake. Kids had alot of freedom and were able to roam around safely in the woods and in the snow at the front of the cabin. We used the sledges they had available and cross country skis. My husband and I did the sauna and ice dip which was brilliant fun. Kitchen facilities were pretty basic but the cabin was super warm and cosy - they have a little kota available that we cooked sausages on Had a husky ride with korvala. My husband and I ended up each mushing a dog sled each which was amazing. We had a kennel tour and was nice to see how loved and cared for the dogs were as this was a major decision in going to korvala.

Our stay at Jarno’s cottage was absolutely wonderful. The property was pre-heated for our late arrival, the roads were well maintained despite the snow and the owners were very communicative and helpful. The cottage has all the modern facilities that one could wish for including comfy beds, sauna, well equipped kitchen and nice siting area. It is beautifully situated by a lake which freezes over in the winter and which warrants privacy and tranquility. The owners are very caring, friendly and accommodating making the experience one of a kind. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and would love to return in the future. Thank you Jarno and Julia!

Villas Karhunpesä beschikt over een eigen sauna en ligt in Saariselka in de regio Lapland. De accommodatie ligt op 26 km van Ivalo en u kunt er gratis privéparkeren. The house was lovely and modern and equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Little touches like the Christmas tree and having dishwasher tablets and detergents to use etc made a self catering stay a lot easier with a family. The house is a little way from the town centre if you are walking (as it’s very cold) but We had a car and it took 5 minutes and we loved the fact it was secluded and quiet but we could easily reach where we needed to go by car.
