I had a wonderful stay at the Shunli Hotel in Phuket, Thailand. Despite its two-star rating, my experience surpassed all expectations. The Deluxe Double Room with Balcony was charming, clean, and provided a cozy atmosphere. The homemade breakfast prepared by the proprietress Khun Thom and her sister, Khun Pong was the highlight of my stay, offering a delicious variety of southern Thai dishes every morning. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, ensuring a spotless room with fresh linens every day. The whole family who managed the B&B, like Khun Thom and Khun Pong, made me feel valued and provided excellent recommendations on where to go in Phuket Old Town. The hotel's location was convenient for walking to explore Phuket Old Town's attractions. Overall, my stay at Shunli Hotel was memorable, and I highly recommend it to others. I look forward to returning in the future.

You cannot get better air conditioning than this at this price. On par with the expensive hotels. You can use the fridge but the cooking facilities are lacking. The toilets and rooms are cleaned daily and beds made like in a hotel. The toilets and showers lack air con and they are super hot. Becuse this place is very far away, the prices of nearby shops are slightly lower than on beaches.

Right in old Phuket town which makes it walkable around the area. If wanting to go to the beaches, you can take public transportation just a couple of blocks away. We stayed in a private room with private bathroom and it was very comfortable. The staff is nice and helpful.
