Nagasaki Kagamiya offers dorm beds and private Japanese rooms, a 5-minute walk from Hotarujaya Tram Station. It features a garden and a cosy shared lounge with free WiFi and a free-use internet pc. The owners are people that just keep giving. We had such a wonderful time getting to know them and the other guests. The beds are amazing!

It was clean, beds were very comfortable and it had a very good equipped kitchen. The staff were also very nice and helpful, they spoke great english too. There was a cafe just right next to the hostel that served very tasty things.

It‘s like staying at someone’s home, really. The beds are comfortable, everything is clean, and the owner is very welcoming. Everyone got a little amuse bouche, so to speak, when paying in cash. And it was so delicious. I read a lot about the rules. At first I thought they seemed strict, but really it‘s just basic manners. Just don‘t be rude, I got my deposit back, no problem.
