Located a 5-minute walk from Fountains Square, City Park Hotel offers 4-star accommodations in Baku and has a bar. Most wonderful staff I have met in a hotel. Spent the majority of the evening in the lobby chatting with them. If nothing else, they would be a reason to return to. The room itself is very spacious with a beautiful bathroom. Unfortunately it got really loud due to a storm during the night, but the hotel was not to blame for this. Location of the hotel is perfect. Nizami street is near, as well as bus line 2 towards the Heydar Aliyev Center and the Baku international bus station. The breakfast buffet was incredible.

Well situated in the Sabayil district of Baku, Hillside City Center Hotel is located a 12-minute walk from Maiden Tower, half a mile from Flame Towers and a 13-minute walk from Upland Park. A truly fantastic accomodation in the heart of Baku - and possibly the best price/value offer you can find as a budget traveller. My room was spacious enough, with a comfy double bed, clean and well-equipped (free mineral water, kettle with free tea bags and coffee). The hotel is centrally located, two corners away from the old town and max. 10 minutes from the Flame Towers. The receptionists are amazingly hospitable (I even received a farewell gift), especially Edwin, whose culinary and cultural tips made my time in Baku more authentic. I was sincerely grateful for the arranged airport transfer, since I arrived in the middle of the night and had to leave the same way. Even with an unexpected situation with my boarding pass, they made sure I am not gonna miss my flight. Overall, I cannot recommend them enough, if I ever return to Baku, I know where I am going to stay.

The location was superb, right in the old town area. Very close to cute souviner stores, resturants, historic sites. The service was also impeccable. The guys on reception/administration were extremely helpful, polite, kind - particularly Eldar who helped us with suitcases and all requests/questions. The buffet breakfast was nice and the chef brought over to us a lovely traditional dish which was a very nice surprise.
