Located within 500 metres of Calvinia Museum and 2.4 km of Calvinia Golf Club, Tarantula Guest House offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Calvinia. The hosts are very welcoming, check in and out were easy. The house itself is great, it has a lovely atmosphere with windows around that provide an amazing view! It is very clean and the kitchen has the nescecary equipment. Calvinia is a nice town, we enjoyed food at Die blauw naartjie, really nice south african cuisine! The pool and garden are nice and spacious. It was a lovely stay, no comments or improvements that I could think of!

The unit was immaculate, from bedding to towels. Plugs have ports for charging phones/cameras. Very friendly host who made a reservation for us for supper at Die Blou Nartjie. Breakfast was delicious. Luxury accommodation. The room looked exactly like the photo - no false advertising. Highly recommended.

Die Lemoenhuis, featuring barbecue facilities and a garden, is located in Calvinia, 600 metres from Calvinia Museum and 3.3 km from Akkerendam Nature Reserve. Liz, Francois and the dogs were so welcoming! The cottage is beautiful, spacious, bright and nicely decorated. It is lovely and warm and the gas heater and electric blankets were great touches. Wifi works well and just a fantastic place to stay. Highly reccommend staying here:)

Situated within 1.3 km of Calvinia Museum and 2.2 km of Akkerendam Nature Reserve in Calvinia, Akkerdam Bed and Breakfast provides accommodation with seating area. I like our staying here. We didn’t expect such a good breakfast. And the owners of the hotel were very nice with us. It felt safe.
